STAY IN CHEER SHAPE & GET FESTIVE

Wow! I can’t believe it, Thanksgiving has come and gone and the holiday season is in full swing. I must say, I love seeing the houses decorated with bright lights, and there is just that something special being in NYC around this time of year. Don’t you just love the extra sparkle in your town?

Now, although we are all filled with a little extra holiday cheer – it is important to remember competition season is here! Of course, I want you to enjoy every ounce of the holiday season, but I don’t want you to sabotage all that hard work that you have been practicing ALL season for!

As your cheer fitness coach, here is where I come in : ) This #workoutwednesday is dedicated to helping you stay in cheer shape, and fit to compete with a holiday twist. Join us as we spread the holiday c-h-e-e-r (FIT) with our fitness tips and favorite holiday inspired exercises.

Stay Motivated

Did you know that it takes 6 weeks to build strength and muscle and only 2 weeks to lose it? Not fair, right?? So with that being said – stay motivated by following our weekly workout challenges. and keeping up with our fitness plans.

 

Make it Fun

Working out can and should be fun! That is why our December Workout Challenge is jam packed with our favorite exercises with a holiday twist. Join us every Wednesday for an extra #cheerfitchallenge.

This week’s workout challenge is how many MARCHING SOLDIERS can you do in a squat hold?

Keep Going Strong

Now of course, just one exercise a day isn’t going to do it. Keep going strong and get in an extra boost with 2 other exercise favorites that help you get fit to compete.

How many can you do in 60 seconds. Repeat 3 times and try to beat your score each time!

Don’t Forget You Can Print Out Your Workout Card and Take it On the Go (bring it to practice, the gym or send to a friend)!
